My role is to manage the day-to-day operations of the community centre, the staff and our services, programmes and projects.  One of my main roles is to work with the committee to set the annual plans, strategic direction and to ensure that all of our policies and procedures align with current legislation.

Amiria's role is to lead our Transitional Housing "Ko Te Tawharau o Fordlands" service and to support whānau from our service into a permanent rental or home ownership.

My role is to support people to find employment and/or further education and training.  I also support people to gain their licences and write their curriculum vitaes and cover letters for job applications.

My role is to connect whanau to key services and programmes with any issues that they are having difficulty navigating.  This means at times I need to walk alongside whanau to access and receive support that is vital to their needs.  Some of the main issues facing our whanau is housing, unemployment and health concerns.

Daniel's role as youth worker includes organising and managing Fordlands Fundays a weekly community day led by Rangatahi, Fordlands Leadership Group, Employment, Educations and Training Programme as well as Mentoring

My role is to support Kristian in his role as the Employment Co-ordinator, this has meant at times driving our whanau to and from Kiwifruit each day.  Another key role is to grow and maintain our Maara Kai which is situated at Huia Lyons reserve (Bellingham rd Skatepark) as well as supervise the riparian restoration of the Utuhina stream via a MSD funded community project.  In 2025 I supervised 10 young men from Fordlands to plant over 3000 native trees and shrubs.
